Arcana Battle Colosseum

The Sunday side event: multiplayer Arcana Battle Colosseum, a Level 1 tournament, starting at 11:00 on Sunday 6 September. Open to anyone who played the main event.

Structure

• 3 to 16 players: one tournament. 17 to 32 players: two.
• 3 to 5 players: one round. 6 to 16 players: two rounds.

Players are split across tables of 3 or 4 and seated at random, and the starting player is chosen at random. Each round lasts 90 minutes; when time is called the active player finishes their turn and every other player takes one more turn.

Tables by attendance: 3, 4 or 5 players sit at one table; 6 is 3+3, 7 is 3+4, 8 is 4+4, 9 is 3+3+3, 10 is 3+3+4, 11 is 3+4+4, 12 is 3+3+3+3, 13 is 3+3+3+4, 14 is 3+3+4+4, 15 is 3+4+4+4, and 16 is 4+4+4+4.

Advancing

Each table's winner plays the other table winners in the next round. Everyone else plays a second round, redistributed at random across their tables.

• 8 players - each table's winner and runner up reach the final table
• 9 players - each table's winner reaches the final table
• 10 to 11 players - each table's winner, plus the runner up from the four player table
• 12 to 16 players - each table's winner reaches the final table

Deciding a winner or a runner up

If the round ends with no winner, or a runner up has to be picked:

1. Most Winning Crystals wins.
2. Still tied: most Winning Crystals and highest life.
3. Still tied: of those, whoever's turn would come first counting from the starting player.

Entry and prizes

Limited to 32 players. Entry is 10 EUR, taken at the event itself rather than online, and includes two boosters from the collections available. A decklist is required, handwritten or printed.

Up to 8 players, per tournament

• 2 wins: two MP03 Dimensional Hope boosters, an Arcana foil, and one World or WPR card of your choice from those available
• 1 win: one MP03 Dimensional Hope booster and an Arcana foil

Up to 16 players, per tournament

• 2 wins: two MP03 Dimensional Hope boosters, an Arcana foil, and one World or WPR card of your choice from those available
• 1 win, and runner up at the final table: two MP03 Dimensional Hope boosters and an Arcana foil
• 1 win: one MP03 Dimensional Hope booster and an Arcana foil
