Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 2026-05-27

FoWCA participates in the TCGplayer Affiliate Program. When you click a "Buy on TCGPlayer" or "Search TCGPlayer" link from this site and make a qualifying purchase within 48 hours, FoWCA may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. You pay the same price either way; the commission is paid by TCGplayer out of their margin.

How to identify affiliate links

Every outbound link to TCGplayer from this site is marked with a small asterisk (*) next to the link text. Hovering or tapping the asterisk shows a short disclosure; clicking it brings you to this page.

What gets tracked

When you click an affiliate link, TCGplayer's affiliate network (Impact) records the click and associates any purchase you make on TCGplayer within the next 48 hours with our partner account. We don't see your purchase details — only aggregated commission totals.

Where the money goes

Affiliate commissions go directly toward server hosting, CDN costs, the card image library, and ongoing tournament-archive maintenance. FoWCA is run as a community project, not a business; commissions help keep the lights on.

Why this disclosure exists

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires material relationships between a publisher and a vendor to be clearly disclosed in advertising and editorial content. The asterisk pattern and this page together satisfy that requirement.

Your preferred Buy link

Pick which marketplace the "Buy" links across the site point to. TCGplayer is the default (US-focused); Cardmarket is the EU equivalent and uses a name-search since we don't yet have per-card Cardmarket product IDs. Prices in the deck builder are TCGplayer-sourced regardless of this setting.
